In Memory of my horse and my friend

Little did I know when this picture was taken that within a few short months, both my horse and my friend would be taken from me. Still in the month of May, I lost my horse, Penney, to lightning. In Jan. of 2009, My Dear Friend, Carolyn Koskiniemi lost her battle with Cancer. This photo was taken at the Paul Bunjan State Forest near Akely, MN. by our friend, Bernice Kangas, whose birthday we were celebrating on this camping trip. None of us knew t his would be our last camping trip together.
